17:30 one gen 1 adult on Texas Thistle. 15 minutes later saw at least four Gen 1 at grove 400 yards away. Perching on a number of different plants. Looked more like looking for a perch than looking for food. A Queen male and a Hackberry Emperor repeated chased any that landed too close. A couple of the Monarchs did the climbing spiral around each other several times.
