Saw our first milkweed in the garden, about a 2" shoot. Not long after, I saw the first monarch of the season, but just a glimpse. When I went to check the blackberry patch on the back hill, I found several small milkweed, some of which had eggs.
Can you spot five milkweed in this photo?
