Saw 2 butterflies while driving today, and can not say positively for sure- but I believe them to have been monarchs. If not, they were viceroys, and I don't know for sure, but I believe it is too early for them around here. I was surprised that the monarchs would be back already, with the late spring we have had. I see no sprouts of milkweed yet- we had a very wet, cool and CLOUDY spring!
