We have herb boxes affixed to our fence. When I would go to water my mint, I would notice a next every day. To discourage the birds from nesting there, I would clean out the nest, but there was a new one every day. On day 5, there was an egg in the nest so I left the nest. There are now 4 eggs as of May 17th. The mama stays with them and only flees when I get close enough to water the mint, she stays when I am watering the neighboring herbs.
