It's sunny and breezy today. Temp in the 80's, humid with westerly winds. Finally saw my first monarch, a fresh female. I followed her around as she deposited eggs on the common milkweed. She would pass up the taller plants and chose the shorter ones (3-4 inches).
We have a good amount of milkweed here
