I pulled out of my garage and was absolutely delighted to see a monarch butterfly flying over my butterfly garden. I got out of my car to see if it stayed in the area; unfortunately, it had continued on. I have several milkweed plants that are emerging in the garden and are getting as tall as 3-4 inches. Last summer I recall seeing very few monarchs, so am hopeful this spring/summer will be a return to greater numbers of the past. Thank you for this website and the updates throughout the year!
