My friends and I were kayaking on the Pearl River in Jackson Ms on Memorial Day 2014. We had just got back in our boats to go further down river after a short break to rest when a bald eagle swept down out of the trees from our left and down toward the water and then soared high into the sky. That's the third one I've seen in Mississippi over the last 5 years
