A sign that Monarchs will be showing up in North Dakota is when the Lilac’s begin to bloom. On Tuesday the 27th of May a friend of mine did have a Monarch flying around his backyard garden. We both live in the same city. I’m still waiting for my first sighting in my yard but I have started looking for eggs and none so far. Temperatures have been in the high 80’s the past few days which is above normal for this time of year.
