Today I found 45 eggs along the bike trail......YAY! At one of the patches I saw the female monarch briefly, and then she took off for parts unknown. Most of the eggs were one per leaf, but I found some doubles and even one triple! This brings my total to 55 eggs, which is a good start for the season. Hopefully, this will continue in the coming weeks.
