Monarch seen at Bayfront Park flying from tree to tree at about 3 p.m. Too high up to determine if it was a male or female. It looked very pale, although I couldn't see any wing damage, so perhaps it may have been an arrival from the States looking to lay eggs?
It was a Monarch. I merely meant that it was a pale orange.
After taking a course through the Monarch Teacher's Network and getting my tagging/rearing permit from the MNR and rearing 25 in my classroom this year, I'm positive it's a monarch.
