Just got home to Ohio this week. Wintered in the South and found a few milkweed plants in various stages of growing. Two plants ready to flower. Others are smaller. I decided to plant more seeds from last year's pods to assure a good growing supply for my Monarchs. I gone from 32 crysilis hanging from my porch ceiling 4 years ago..to only sighting TWO Monarchs last Summer! So I'll be waiting here in Northeast Ohio for my orange friends!
