a small buildup of monarch numbers today as the north wind and cool dry air holds back the recent immigrants. Seacliff Park is providing nectar from its lawn of short Dandelion and short white clover to two monarchs right now and there are others within a kilometer of this place where they are on Red Clover in a development field. Once the wind changes direction, they will all head northeast farther into Ontario.
closeup I've photographed and observed 3 so far today and spotted 2 more at a distance with binoculars.
