Very late spring here, saw my first monarch as the lilacs were budding, milkweed is just 4-6" tall. We still had frost in the ground three weeks ago with frozen water fountain until May 3rd! Coldest winter, deepest frost in 65 years, according to my neighbor Don Hasselquist.
