After a spell of no sightings, saw monarch today visiting flowers in my backyard and front yard.

Jerky flight patterns.

Could not sex. No eggs.

I will recheck plants tomorrow,. A. Currassivica

This is my 3rd one to see this year. Very hot in Houston. 90+ temps.
Saw gulf Frittilary, swallowtails, also today.
Definitely nice butterfly weather.

Think rains washed away the caterpillars I reported earlier. Plants have holes, but no caterpillars.
