Today on the dwarf lilac that has been for 3 days in fully fragrant bursting bloom and milk weed about to bloom came the first monarch butterfly it looked in great condition strong healthy I did not photograph it as it was eating I would have had to disturb it to get the camera. First one here I have been looking every day the bush is a favorite of theirs though last year the rain spoiled the blooms and none came. It was late afternoon I was soo excited to see it.
