Sighted one milkweed plant in my backyard that was apparently in with a wildflower seed mixture I scattered last year. On this date it was about 8" tall. This year I started from seed and transplanted about 50 common milkweed plants. Hoping these will prosper and attract monarchs in the future. No monarchs sighted yet, but keeping my eyes peeled!
