Was out on the ocean near Stellwagen bank (about 1/2 hour from shore) on a whale watch and saw two Monarchs flying. We saw them about 15 minutes apart and quite a distance apart so unlikely to be the same butterfly twice. They flew close enough to positively ID as Monarchs, but not close enough to determine sex.
