The Journey North is always lighter than Journey South; however, this year, I have barely seen any adult Monarchs in my garden. I have plenty of milkweed, nectar, water, etc. I saw one butterfly this past weekend. Others must have passed through as I found two larvae on one plant. I brought them inside as the wasps are very bad so they stand no chance. I have one chrysalis and one smaller caterpillar. The lack of Monarchs is very noticeable this year.
