One female Monarch Butterfly nectaring on Asclepias speciosa milkweeds that were growing along Diamond Hill Drive about 5 miles east of Harrisburg, Oregon. June 16, 2014. That same female then flew over to more nearby speciosa milkweeds growing along the margin of an Oregon ryegrass crop field and laid an egg.
