Despite having hundreds of large, healthy common milkweeds, dozens of multi-stemmed butterfly milkweeds (blooming now) and two swamp milkweeds (growing next to a gravel driveway!) that just "showed up", sadly we still have not seen a monarch for two years in a row. Prior to that we had a few from time to time.
We live in rural Greene County Indiana, about 20 miles west of Bloomington. The "neighborhood" is about 50% woods, 45% fields and 5% homes.
