Notice that the deformed milkweed leaves in the attached picture. Roundup was used in late fall 2013 to kill Canada Thistle, but happened to be in the same area as the milkweed.  The deformed milkweed appeared the following spring (this year).

The pictures are of several plants beside each other.   See the last picture where the new growth becomes more normal. The deformed leaves eventually become more normal about halfway up the stalk of the mature plant.

I talked to a friend that had milkweed with the same deformed leaves and says she knows for sure it was due to roundup sprayed two seasons earlier.
