Today I checked my milkweed and found 2 caterpillars about 2 days old. That means about a week ago there must have been a female monarch in my backyard. I was beginning to wonder if I was ever going to see any. I have brought the 2 in the house and will raise them. I'm now going back outside to check the rest of the plants as I have about 40 milkweed. I will report if I find any more.
