I had my first monarch emerge today, it was a male that was very healthy. Put him on my milkweed that was blooming and he started drinking. I seen two adults today with in a mile of my house and have seen 24 adults this year in various places around the north metro. So many more than last year! I have so much milkweed, well over 1000 plants in my yard (in the north metro we have so much milkweed) just not enough monarchs to use them. I still have 25 chrysalis, 8 caterpillars, and 2 eggs as of today.
