I released the last of four monarchs that we raised into our backyard. It flew to a pine tree and perched there for a long time. The Monarch was a female. My family released the other ones while I was at scout camp so I do not no the gender of all of them. My brothers and sister have seen the released butterflies in our yard a couple times.
