Flying around milkweed in field.

I appreciate your question about whether this could be viceroys and have forwarded this to my friend in So. New Berlin. I myself have no problem distinguishing between monarchs and viceroys, but this report (two reports over two days, actually) is from a friend. Hopefully he'll see another today and can confirm. They were definitely in and over his milkweed field, so that helps id as monarch. I'll keep you posted!
