A large female monarch in better shape than the last showed up early this morning, laying eggs on my potted native milkweed.
We had a cool front a few days ago with north winds."Cool" by highs in mid 80's, with record lows in the low 60's. Less humid air was pleasant. Our winds are shifting back to the south/SW & we'll be back in mid 90's before the end of the week.
I'm curious if these monarchs are coming from the south or north ?
