While driving country roads near Hamilton ON two (2) adults were sighted.

One female was laying eggs, at approximately 2:45 pm, and I was able to locate and collect one which will be cared for & released after emerging.

She did not lay any on the plants that had many ants and other insects crawling on them, but chose to do so only on the one which was free of them.

At least this one of her eggs won't become lunch for any insects.
