Saw a very healthy, and large, adult!!! It was flitting between front gardens in midtown Toronto, one of which has a large patch of milkweed (see photo). Occasionally it landed on a milkweed leaf, but I could not get close to it in time to grab a photo. I will check for eggs over the next few days.
