A monarch landed on a flower next to my porch and I was close enough to confirm. My neighbor said she had seen them already and I had seen what I thought was a monarch, but it was flying a little faster and too far away to be sure. We also found 2 tiny cats on neighbors' swamp milkweed. I brought them in but one died and looked dehydrated and tiny, but the other is doing well and eating away. Both common and swamp milkweed are looking great in my yard and a couple of the neighbors'. Yes, I shared!
