We found our first monarch egg on July 13, then two more so far on July 14. We will look again this evening.

I believe this was our first sign of monarchs…I say it like that because we did see another butterfly in June that looked like a monarch, but I wasn’t sure..I suspected it was a viceroy butterfly since it seemed smaller. We saw it from a distance.
