I have not seen any wild Monarchs since June. Today a slightly faded wild female Monarch was nectaring on Swamp Milkweed. She did not stay long. So far I have not found any eggs. No males in my yard right now either. I had released one a few days ago, but he has left, too. I place a small red dot with a permanent marker on the discal cell on one side to indicate that they are reared so I know when a wild one shows up. All reared Monarchs are from eggs collected locally.
