Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 07/15/2014

Number: 1

My daughter, Rosa, and I watched a male Monarch along a railroad track running through Bedford, Nova Scotia. He did not appear to be feeding, but would fly for ten meters or so, then land among the plant stems and rest for a few minutes, then take to the air again. He looked in pristine condition, colors vibrant, and likely emerged recently.
