Female on milkweed beside steel bridge on Panther Mountain Road near Coreys. This sighting was the first of the year. We usually tag many here during the fall migration (University of Kansas program)--in the hundreds in some past years. Only nine tagged last year. It appears that this year the migration numbers will likely be more than last year.
