I have been watching fro monarchs the last few weeks because I haven't seen any at all. I have milkweed growing outside of the building I work in at a living history museum. In a matter of an afternoon I observed 4 adult butterflies resting on the milkweed. I wasn't quite sure if they laid any eggs but did see two bend under the leaves and looked like the position of laying eggs. I have left the leaves alone and will observe any changes tomorrow. I was very excited to see them. I had just watched the CBC special by David Suzuki the week before and became interested in watching for them. We intend to grow milk weed in our garden next season.
