Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 07/17/2014

Number: 1

Saw another Monarch, shortly after a several hour heavy rain shower ended. Can't rule out it being the same one as yesterday. It was about 500 yards north upstream in the same creek as yesterday. However it also appeared to be much paler in color. Flushed from mixed forbs, with the most prominent flowers blooming right there being Devil's Claw. Flew to a Live oak nearby, then back down to forbs, then out of sight around the Live Oak. Flushed readily.
