Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 07/17/2014

Number: 1

Having just reported seeing a Monarch in July (with picture), I should add that this is rare. Do no think otherwise. Since May I have seen thousands of Queens. They fly every day, all day, except for pouring rain. And they are difficult to tell from a Monarch at a distance. Can be difficult to tell even fairly close if they are perched with wings folded so only the ventral hind wing is visible.
