Sightings report image

Date: 07/18/2014

Number: 1

mid july update:
cold weather for the past week may have slowed down life cycles.....
still seeing numerous monarchs daily
some new eggs the last couple of days and three mating pairs yesterday.......
discovered a new 40? acres of milkweed in an area that was burned over last spring.......hundreds/thousands of milkweed
saw a dozen monarchs there, but no eggs/caterpillars
will have to re-check that spot in the next weeks to see if its promise is for real
hoping for more Minnesota and Wisconsin reports.......
keep them coming
thanks!
