Monarch Adult Sighted

More good news from Virginia's Eastern Shore! Another female sighted laying eggs on the common milkweed in our yard! She was looking for young tender leaves, which was a bit difficult in that I had recently cut all my milkweed back to encourage new growth! However, she was successful on a few leaves (that had already grown out) that I checked after she left. I will check again tomorrow to see if I missed some... This is still encouraging, as I've mentioned before because last year we had none! We are certainly looking at a more successful season so far. Oh, Happy Day! (Hoping there will be enough leaves to feed the ones I've rescued so far. Will be looking out for that each day when these hatch.)
