Went out in my garden yesterday for the heck of it, because 13 days ago a female Monarch was landing on my milkweed. I watched her and could not see her laying any eggs. But she did. I found 3 cats, but one was dead. I will keep watching for more cats. I feel hopeful now that I have 2 cats to raise. I now can order tags for them.
