Saw one Monarch butterfly around 6:30pm flitting around at the Beagle Club on Aboite Road. Checked several milkweed plants for eggs and caterpillars, found none. This was the first Monarch butterfly I have seen this year.
My sister-in-law, who lives on the north side of Fort Wayne, has seen several Monarchs, over the span of several weeks, laying eggs on the Common Milkweed plants in her yard.
