I watched as a female Monarch flitted around our large Asclepias
patch and checked later to find 9 eggs. The butterflies seem to prefer our younger plants which were planted this spring and are only about 9 inches tall. I am finding the eggs on the backs of the leaves by using a magnifying mirror. I have brought them indoors to raise along with the earlier ones I have collected.
