Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 07/26/2014

Number: 1

Haven't gotten close enough to tell if it's male or female. I usually don't get them until late August so I was fairly surprised when this one just showed up today. Haven't noticed any eggs yet. It's just flying around my garden and hovering over the milkweed. It is indeed Tropical Milkweed (Asclepias curassavica). I haven't been able to get any other type in my area.

I can absolutely confirm that it was a Monarch. :-)
