Counted nine (9) Monarch caterpillars feasting on a butterfly weed plant in my garden. They are all getting larger by the day. Although there are several milk weeds close by, the Monarch butterfly seemed to have preferred the butterfly weed instead.
This summer I have only spotted 2 Monarch butterflies in my garden, where in past years we would have Monarchs all summer long
