In the past years the monarchs arrive, drop their their eggs and move on.
Fortunately, I've been blessed this year with an extended stay of their presence.
Over the last three weeks I've collected eggs daily to rear and observe the stages from egg to pupae.
As I wait for nine to emerge, hopefully healthy,
I supply "the crunchers" demand for milkweed, and tend to the "wee ones" as they silently grow into adults.
