My neighbor and I have been raising Monarch eggs for two months. Today, 28 July we had 18 flying in both our yards. I've had 40 milkweed plants (and the caterpillars have devoured them all) and I had to go and buy seven plants yesterday to keep up with the demand of my caterpillars in my enclosure. I counted 12 caterpillars and there are several eggs on the milkweeds that I bought. There were 28 caterpillars in my milkweed garden three days ago.
