Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 07/24/2014

Number: 1

A half dozen Monarch Caterpillars - medium to large - feasting on native Milkweed on the east side of our home. Last year we collected and scattered Milkweed seeds around our property and lightly sprinkled them with a bit of soil to anchor them. This was a very effective way to propagate these important food plants. Plus, they smell AMAZING!
