Number: 1

Our habitat is cold and wet for a summer night in Michigan--59.7 degrees, rain and several thunder storms--30 hummingbirds sighted at various feeders--8:38 PM, I was cleaning the nectar feeders and filling them with warm nectar--a big hit with our tiny guests. Hummingbird feeders are close to the house and in the East Habitat this year, as our crows and their children have been expanding their territory and are frequently in the areas to the West. The East side provides our hummers with more shelter and protection. Rose breasted G.Beaks are consuming vast quantities of sun flower seeds daily, fawns and baby turkeys are enjoying pastures, trails and ditch banks. Large numbers of young squirrels due to past releases from a licensed wildlife rehab specialist--fox, gray, and black.
