I have actively searched for Monarch Butterflies by scanning open fields with my binoculars and spotting scope with none sighted. I am glad to see other reports nearby of Monarchs sighted. I checked my milkweed garden for caterpillars, but there are none this month. This has been a good summer so far with good rain fall and moderate temperatures. We had no days over 100 degrees; just the mid to low 90's.
