The Monarch came to our yard about 5:30p.m. and stayed for about 20 minutes. It flew from the Milkweed to fir trees to my butterfly bushes, and flowers, around and around the yard.
It spent much of the time getting nectar from the butterfly bush. It also spent some time just sitting on the top of the milkweed leaves and seems to rest on the fir trees.
Then it was gone, and we didn't see it again.
