Greetings once more from Virginia's Eastern Shore! I observed a single female monarch nectaring on my butterfly bush today! Also saw 3 more monarchs nectaring on coneflowers at our local garden center nearby. Could not get close enough to see whether they were male or female...but they were busily enjoying the abundance of blooms the whole time I was there! So encouraging compared to last year! Yay!
